Wedding Internship

The Savvy Bride will add a paid event internship during the 2024 Wedding Season. This is a contracted position on an as-needed basis. The pay is  $15.00 per hour* for on-site wedding intern training. 

 

This is a great opportunity for students needing experience hours for their undergraduate or graduate degree. If credit requires non-paid, we can adjust for this as well and follow course requirements.

 

Required

  • Must be at least 19 years old.

  • Flexibility to work during weekend hours.

  • Have reliable transportation. 

  • Willing to travel within 50 miles of St. Louis city.

 

Preferred

  • Associates degree or second-year or higher, current students  in event management, hospitality, business, communications or theatre, 

  • Comfortable with public speaking.

 

Opportunities

  • Hands on experience coordinating and decorating weddings in the St. Louis Metro area.

  • Meals provided during the wedding event.

  • Learn design, decorating, floral arranging, and timeline building.

  • Work with a fun-loving team in some of the areas most desirable wedding venues.

  • Networking and teambuilding opportunities

Wedding Associate

This is a contracted position on an as-needed basis. The pay begins at $20.00 per hour based on experience.

This is a great opportunity for extra income to supplement your current employment with occasional weekend wedding work, We do approximately 20 weddings per year and your work schedule is based on the weddings you select to work. 

 

Required

  • Must be at least 21 years old.

  • Flexibility to work during weekend hours.

  • Have reliable transportation. 

  • Willing to travel within 50 miles of St. Louis city.

 

Preferred

  • Associate degree or Bachelor in event management, hospitality, business, communications or theatre, 

  • Experience in catering, florals, and decorating is a plus

  • Comfortable with public speaking.

 

Opportunities
