I am so glad we hired Wendy for our wedding! I do not think I would have had it in me to postpone and then keep planning a wedding by myself during the pandemic. Wendy made postponing easy. Wendy was so helpful with communicating with vendors and answering questions throughout the planning process. She was flexible with changes in plan, had solutions to problems, and helped me so much in staying on top of things. Wendy is organized, professional, and responsive! I always thought that a wedding planner was out of my budget, but Wendy was surprisingly reasonable and was absolutely worth it. If you're reading this review, your time would be better spent immediately hiring Wendy to be your wedding planner!! I truly cannot say enough good things about Wendy and her team. Wendy basically planned us two weddings due to COVID-19, and she did it with grace, support, and enthusiasm! When the pandemic hit and we had to reschedule, she made spreadsheets and coordinated everything with our vendors to seamlessly secure a new date. She ensured that our new vision came to life, and I knew I could trust her with anything that came up on the day of the reception. Wendy went out of her way to help us with our destination wedding, including last-minute color printing, picking up wedding flowers, and directing our vendors. The smartest move I made was choosing Wendy to help me. Wendy is the person you need as your planner--trust me on this one!!

Wendy was indispensable during the entire planning process and on the day of the wedding. She helped us breeze through two postponements ensuring all vendors were either re-booked or new vendors were found . She also was a great mediator between the Event Planner at the Wedding Venue and the Bride and Bride's Family when miscommunications occurred. Wendy is very organized and keeps updated records on Aisle Planner. She was easy to work with and always available for questions. She was also quick to follow up on things. On the day of the wedding she handled unexpected issues (two bridesmaids leaving and one not returning) with grace and professionalism quickly devising a workable solution. I really do not believe we could have pulled this off without her. And it was a beautiful ceremony (even if Ace the dog didn't cooperate) the dining room looked lovely, and the reception was so much fun

As a caterer who provides on site cooking and meal assemblies, timing and punctuality are a must for our team in order to assure an efficient, hot and tasty meal. There is no way that this little box can hold enough characters to adequately share how amazing Wendy and her team are! Without them, there is no way we would have been able to pull together our wedding, especially during a pandemic! We started working with Wendy prior to the pandemic, and we were sure that the pandemic would deter vendors from working with us. Wendy ensured that we found the right vendors to make everything just perfect. Venues closed, and people got sick, and we had to change so many things - but this didn't even worry Wendy. She worked with us to find solutions and - I think she knows everyone in St. Louis (if that is possible) because she had a list of vendors within about 5 mins of any conversation we had! We also had our wedding on Rosh Hashanah and so there may have been a mix up regarding bagels, but her team ran over to a bakery and basically demanded bagels on a Jewish Holiday! My dress bustle wasn't done correctly, so Wendy came through and safety pinned it! It was perfect! She was so on top of things that during the event she would "Mama Bear" us and tell us to eat! We were having so much fun we almost forgot about food - Which was also amazing! And Wendy helped with the tasting too! I mean, honestly, I don't think there is anything that Wendy cannot do! Anxiety was high given everything going on with COVID (and a bit of family drama), but she knew how to keep us focused on the happy things. She helped us is so many ways over the span of a year and a half... We could not have done this without her and her team. They are truly wonderful at planning weddings and truly wonderful people. I am so beyond thankful!

If you're reading this review and trying to decide whether The Savvy Bride is worth it for your wedding, stop right now and immediately message her. Wendy and her team are the BEST in the business, and you will absolutely not regret hiring them. We knew about R&WW from my sister, who booked her for her wedding last year. We were amazed at how she kept the event on time, and at her ability to "herd cats" (ie: the wedding party and Bride and Groom) to make sure everyone was where they were supposed to be throughout the night. We knew, after that night, that we needed her for our wedding! Once we booked, Wendy helped us navigate everything from invitations, color schemes, and seating, to (closer to our date) how to effectively negotiate the new COVID-19 rules and regulations for weddings. She was a wonderful go-between for us, our vendors, and our venue, and kept my now-wife and I organized, calm, and informed...especially when things popped up last minute with the city's COVID rules that might have derailed our event completely. Wendy and her team are creative, cool-headed, and easy to work and communicate with. She always has a Plan A, B, and C to make sure that your big day has no hiccups and it's everything you want it to be. I honestly can't say enough positive things about this company!

YOU NEED WENDY AND HER REVEL & WONDER TEAM !!!!!!! Who knew that planning a wedding could be so hard and this was our 3rd wedding!!?!! Who knew that we would need to regroup and re-plan 1 1/2 weeks until the Big Day????? !!! CORONAVIRUS !!!!! Wendy was our Knight in Shining Armor! We would not have had a wedding if it wasn’t for her Expertise and professionalism in talking and working with our building vendor. This wedding will go down in the history books! Wendy was right there with us, Zoom meetings, phone calls, emails. We always knew what was going on and all the rules and regulations during this Covid 19 time. ( we could not have all of our guests inside the building and so moved ceremony and all activities outside) Again... we would not have had a wedding if not for her! She worked her tail off for all of us!! Besides the weeks before, Wendy was there for us at the rehearsal and all day for wedding. She and her staff were wonderful! Our day, the first part of Oct., was cloudy and a little rainy- Wendy kept positive and guess what??? The rain dried up right at the time for the ceremony! Ceremony was beautiful! The reception was perfect and she made sure everything went smoothly for us! We got to sit back and enjoy. It was a fantastic night for my daughter and her Bride! They were so happy!!!! Wendy... you and your team are amazing! We are so grateful that you came into our lives! We could not have planned this event any better. You are a SUPERWOMAN!!!!! Now, go get some sleep!! ;)

Wedding planning during the global pandemic was a major challenge for everyone involved. Constant change became our "new normal." My fiance and I first came to Wendy after recently moving to and deciding to get married in St. Louis. She guided us through planning not one, but two (!), different versions of our wedding during COVID. Although we ultimately decided to elope, Wendy did everything in her power to help our big day happen. She is incredibly communicative, creative, organized, funny, supportive, and I am so grateful we had the opportunity to work together for the past year. I think I've been procrastinating writing this because I knew there was no way to adequately express how beneficial having Wendy as my wedding coordinator and wedding stylist was. What a lifesaver she was can't possibly be put into words. It's not an exaggeration to say that I do not think we would have managed a wedding without her. Everyone knows why you hire a coordinator - you don't want to work on your wedding day or deal with mishaps. Wendy handles those things beautifully, to be sure, but I'm going to try to outline the unexpected ways she was great. She saved me tons of money. She is brilliant about saying 'That's not going to matter' and even though I'm not the type to want personalized everything or need extra fancy chair covers, she saved me a ton of money on unnecessary spending and time wasted on crafts no one would see. If I was stressing about something, she handled it or she outlined why I didn't need to stress about it. And she's a professional, so I believed her. Without fail she was right. We had last minute disasters - things that would have absolutely crushed me to deal with. But I didn't even stress about them because I knew she could handle it. Many people - including my now husband - didn't think we needed a wedding coordinator. In the months leading up to the wedding, I heard "Thank god we have Wendy" from someone on a daily basis. My family still raves about her. Wendy does so much so you don't have to worry about finding someone new. Want someone to handle your wedding decor? Wendy can. Don't know what florist to use? Hire Wendy. If she can't do it, she can recommend a bunch of great people who can. After a year+ of wedding planning, we had several unexpected family tragedies and I was just depressed and worn out and *done* in the last months leading up to the wedding. She was not only an amazing emotional support, she basically was the only reason anything got done. I never expected to be in a place like that at the end - but I think the point is that no one does, and she is like the world's best insurance policy. It's almost criminal if I think about what we paid her and compare it to how much work she did. She is priceless. If you're having doubts about hiring a wedding coordinator - I promise you you should hire one. I'm not rich, I had no blank checks for this wedding. No trade off would have been worth not having her. Anyone who is against it will see how right you were in the end, and you will still be sane, and you will enjoy your wedding day

Working with Wendy is the single best decision we made when planning our wedding. She and her team are so kind, encouraging, easy to work with, and a lot of fun. Revel & Wonder Wed team made our wedding day so incredibly smooth and wonderful. On top of that, Wendy’s guidance during the planning process was invaluable. She introduced us to most of our other amazing vendors, answered all kinds of random questions, and talked me out of a few stress spirals. We also hired her for florals and she created the most beautiful bouquets I’ve ever seen, going above and beyond to get me the dahlias my heart desired. Wedding planning was not my favorite activity, but Wendy made it bearable and at times even fun. :) If you are in the market for a coordinator, hire Wendy if you can. You will not regret it.
